The Federal Government has announced that Tuesday, 9th, and Wednesday, 10th April 2024, will be observed as Public Holidays to commemorate Eid-el-Fitr Celebration.
Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, conveyed the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, extending congratulations to all Muslim Ummah for the successful conclusion of the fasting period during the holy month of Ramadan.
Dr. Aishetu Gogo Ndayako, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, shared in a statement released on Sunday, April 7, that Dr. Tunji-Ojo urged the Muslim Ummah to embrace and embody the values of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, good neighborliness, and compassion as demonstrated by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
